Nikon F100, 50mm f/1.8, Fuji Press 800, photo by Adam JackleyIt’s been one whole month since we’ve been married, and let us tell you, marriage is absolutely wonderful! Who knew that so much could change in the course of four weeks, yet so much could feel so right. We’ve had a blast getting to be in the same place seven days a week, praying together, having breakfast in the morning, eating dinner in the evening, eating snacks at night, going grocery shopping, ummm, well, hey, c’mon, we LOVE food.
But really, we thank the Lord so much for the gift He’s given us in being able to start this new family together, Jason and Marcia Kuo! Praise God!
Now, onward to credit where it’s due. If you were hanging out with us anytime in December or early January, you would’ve seen us frantically running around trying to nail down all the details. Props to the groomsguys, it was awesome spending some time together in the days before, running errands, eating lotsa food, Mario Party, waking up early-ish – you guys rock! To the bridesmaids – wow, you girls are wonderful, and it says a lot when you’re willing to wake up before 5am!
To Alex, for our most excellent engagement photos, and to Gary, for the slide show and our cool music video. Brian and Christine thanks for keeping things going and being all-around awesome, just as you always have been in our lives. To the ushers, for taking over a task without any real directions from us, for showing up early, and for all the help! to the gift and welcoming crews – a job well done with chaos and hundreds of guests! To Minho and Bobby for setting up sound, to our favorite wedding musicians, Miriam & crew, Ted and Pat. To Hanah, who spearheaded organizing the flow of events that we weren’t even sure of. To Pastor Mike, for a fitting, heartfelt sermon that was such a blessing to us! To our awesome brothers for getting up to announce the families and for providing lots of comic relief. And extra special thanks to our parents, who were so supportive throughout the whole courtship process, for raising us well, and for loving us so much.
And to you, our friends, our readers, thank you for partying with us, and we hope you had fun! The coolest part about the wedding was just feeling surrounded with people who love us and whom we love. Now, onward to the rest of the beginning of our life together! We want to chill with you, have you over for dinner (steak?), and see how life is going! Give us a call, zap us an email, we’d love to hang out. Peace!
- Jason and Marcia
