Downtown Shot: A Crate of Apples

This lens is awesome. So is the Heart of the City Farmers’ Market where this shot was taken. I love this city.

Shot: Save the Earth

A quick shot from an Academy of Sciences exhibit that had kids write their solutions to saving the earth on a card and hang them up on this wall. I especially like the one in the middle: “Do not use cars,” with the X through the car and (I presume) Henry Ford’s name. I like the bus. :) I used a Picasa filter that desaturates the image starting at a certain radius from a point, leaving color on the instruction plate but rendering all the cards black and white. That little program is pretty powerful!
